The Pump industry has been a major driving force in the South African economy for many decades. It has contributed significantly to the creation of jobs and to the development of the secondary and tertiary industries in the country. Like many other industries in South Africa, the participation of black people in the industry has mainly been marginal, primarily as unskilled workers. In recent years, some attempts have been made to bring about changes at the ownership and management levels. These efforts have resulted in the emergence of a few black empowered companies. However, there still exists a lot of scopes for other smaller companies to get involved, particularly in the area of pump repair skills and sales executives, all of which have been sorely neglected in the past.

Liquidflowwas established in 2013 purely as a technical advisory support and sales company, which, through its partners, possesses a wealth of experience in the physical skills of pump repairs and associated expertise. In 2016 the company registered to that of a Proprietary Limited company.
