Since July 2015 my husband, Heindrich, has been an outpatient of Adjust Ability (back then it was Justin Jeffrey’s Biokineticists), at their Rivonia practise. He made good progress after sustaining a spinal cord injury and a TBI (traumatic brain injury) in a motor vehicle accident in September 2012.

In March 2018 I, Chantal, (Heidrich’s wife) started a new job to alleviate some of the financial pressure the family was under. I found it impossible to drive Heindrich all the way to Rivonia twice a week, as my employer’s office was in North riding, Johannesburg.

It was at this point that my husband and I realised the huge shortage of facilities, where he can receive treatment, in our area. That was how the Olive Branch Therapy Centre was born. We concluded an agreement with Biokineticists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
