Injongo means Purpose.  We all have a purpose in life.  Helping people find their purpose through Skills Development and Education is the main objective of the College.  The vision of this project is to give the most struggling demographic, a fighting chance in the job market.  By empowering them with skills that will make them more employable as well as skills that can assist them in starting their own small business should no other opportunity present itself to ensure they become self-sustainable as well as create more opportunities for others.

Injongo FET College is a place of empowering people with skills and knowledge for a Purpose. We offer students with Grade 9 the opportunity to study in Hospitality and Catering, Primary Agriculture and Early Childhood Development.  This is a 3-year course towards National Certificate Vocational Level 4.  We also offer SETA training in various Seta’s.  The hospitality Training Practical Experience will take place in our own inhouse Blue Lily Café Restaurant.  The students will get first-hand training under our professional staff before they get transfer to other restaurants for more practical experience. Various short courses that are combined as a multiskilled program in Food and Beverage and Accommodation Services are available. Injongo FET College offers a Tutoring Centre for Home schoolers or any other student that require a little help with an extra class. The NPO Work for a Meal is working closely with the College.  Work for a Meal is also registered as a Public benefit organisation (‘PBOs’) that is a tax-exempt entity.  This will also fall as a benefit under the BEE Scorecard points.
