Crackajack is a pioneering educational app that harnesses AI to revolutionize the learning experience. Addressing a significant gap in the South African (especially Afrikaans) market, Crackajack offers a novel solution for students, parents, and teachers. By leveraging AI-powered quizzes, interactive features, and real-time progress tracking, we're poised to bring a solution to parents and children in the education sector. With a growing demand for personalized learning and parental involvement, Crackajack is perfectly positioned to capitalize on this trend.
The app will generate income by offering subscriptions and no ads will be present in the app. Parents are always looking for ways to help their children study and be more prepared.
The target market for the MVP is South African, English and Afrikaans primary school-going children and their parents. There is a great demand for resources to help children do better in school, parents are always looking to test exam papers to print out for their children to see if they know their work.
They are willing to spend money on private tutors and online resources to assist their child in better understanding and be prepared for the exams. With over 17,000 primary schools in SA, with more than 2 million Learners who receive education in Afrikaans and Eng, there is ample demand. My aim is to expand and include most subjects and all grades up to Matric soon, and that is why I need funding. At the moment the app has subjects: Afr HT, Afr EAT, Eng HL, Eng FAL, and Maths for Grade 4-7.
Our strategic roadmap for Crackajack is designed to drive exponential growth and impact. In Phase 2, we aim to rapidly expand our content offerings to include grades 8-12 and additional STEM subjects. Building on this momentum, Phase 3 will focus on developing a teacher-centric platform, enabling educators to seamlessly integrate Crackajack into their classroom workflows. This will not only enhance teaching efficiency but also provide valuable insights into student progress, freeing instructors to focus on what matters most – teaching. In Phase 4, we plan to introduce a social learning platform, fostering a collaborative community where learners can engage with peers, participate in friendly competition, and receive motivational support.
At the moment it is just me, Corli Opperman, and my husband on the team. It is my idea to develop this app as it is my own problem that I want to find a solution to. I want to know if my children are sufficiently prepared for the exam, and want to be able to test them to see what they know and how well they know it.
