Pro-Active Public Services College was founded in January 1999 to address the need for financial skills development in the public sector. Pro-Active Public Services College was the first educational institution to receive full accreditation from the Public Sector Education and Training Authority (PSETA) in South Africa.
OUR BUSINESS
Pro-Active Public Services College offers training solutions through qualifications, skills programmes and workshops. We offer face-to-face training, e-learning and online interactive training. Training is facilitated as scheduled courses or specifically tailored for group-training needs of customers. The training solutions offered fall within the following categories: Public Finance; Supply Chain Management (in the Public Sector); Management; Administration; Secretarial; Education and Development (ECD, OD-ETDP and SACE); Soft skills and Computer Skills.

This skills programme provides the learner with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to design, develop and conduct outcomes-based assessments. Who should Attend ? This skills programme is designed for the public and private sector and is aimed at: • individuals assessing the competence of others according to specified criteria and predesigned instruments; and • individuals interested in designing and developing assessments which are consistent, effective, reliable and objective. What are the benefits ? The benefits of this skills programme include: • the ability to register as an assessor; • compliance with assessment principles; and • being able to design and develop assessment instruments.
