Here you will learn true authentic OGKK Goju-Ryu and Matayoshi Kobudo.
Each grade, all medals and achievements are recognized legitimately in South Africa as well as on an International level.
When it is time to get that Black Belt, we will not download a certificate from the internet and sign it for you. Nope, your black belt certificate will come from our South African Honbu Dojo. but wait there’s more! In addition to that, you will be awarded another Black Belt certificate from Okinawa.

from R440 per monthGoju-Ryu Karate is one of the main traditional Okinawan styles of karate, featuring a combination of hard and soft techniques. Goju-Ryu incorporates both circular and linear movements into its curriculum, combining hard striking attacks such as kicks and close hand punches with softer open hand circular techniques for attacking, blocking, and controlling the opponent, including joint locks, grappling, takedowns, and throws. Our classes in Brackenfell include age-specific training according to the OGKK syllabus with self-defence techniques. We provide professional, high-quality teaching by only black belts focused on each child’s individual skill. We’ve delivered Nationally ranked athletes who competed at an international level. With our boutique, focussed style of teaching our ADHD students showed an improvement in focus, concentration, and discipline. Brackenfell Martial Arts Academy is COVIDSAFE!!!!!
