Makwande Skills Development Project was established to alleviate the impact of school dropout and unemployment through skills development. The targetted age groups are as follows:

• 10 to 18 year old adolescents boys and girls (in and out of school)
• 18 to 35 year old unemployed youth (male and female)
• 36 to 55 year old unemployed women

Our organisation does not focus only on vocational skills training but we also include life, interpersonal, and financial skills training. Developing these skills plays a vital role in ensuring that an individual is able to make informed decisions pertaining to achieving their goals. Passion to make a positive impact in people's lives is one of the driving forces behind the team. The organisation started operating in March 2023 we are currently in our infancy stages but I can say the milestone we have achieved is getting things started and those ahead may include acquiring land (especially in the area where we are offering services) to build our centre.
